I am a senior project manager with more than 15 years experience in the information technology and aerospace industries. As the president and founcer of James Heires Consulting, I created the EZ-Metrix^® code counting utility.

At Rockwell Collins, I designed, implemented and tested real-time embedded avionics software for commercial primary flight displays and flight management systems. My work in the process improvement discipline resulted in two business units achieving the Capability Maturity Model Level 3 distinction. I am an accomplished project manager, recently responsible for projects ranging in scope from $2500 to $1.2M.

As a consultant with Emergeon, I worked with Fortune 100 organizations to establish software development benchmarks, to improve cost estimation and qualitative project management.
